Message because we are dealing with compressible flow. This is why turbo compressor maps use mass flow rate instead of cfm.

Yes, CFM is dictated by engine displacement and RPM, but mass flow rate is not.

This is false:

Increased hp is made by increasing the pressure of this volume of air, and pressure drop decreases as the same volume of air is moved at a higher pressure.

HP is increased by increasing the mass flow rate of the air. Pressure is just a measure of the resistance to flow through an engine. An engine engine that breathes better will make more power on less boost than an engine that does not breathe as well. Furthermore, pressure drop will increase as the same volume of air is moved at higher pressure. Remember, we are dealing with compressible flow, so increased pressure results in increased mass flow rate if volumetric flow rate remains constant.
